Integrator of Faith and Health – provides opportunities to improve health and well-being. The FCN is available to make home, hospital and nursing home visits. The FCN links church members to pastoral and spiritual care.

Health Educator – information on health and well-being topics are provided in the bulletin, through monthly Lunch and Learn presentations, and one-on-one consultations.

Health Counselor – the third weekend of every month, registered nurses are available to check blood pressures following all Masses. A health tip and healthy recipes are shared each month. Blood pressures are also taken on an individual basis.

Referral Agent – able to provide referrals to physicians, social service agencies and community resources.

Health Advocate – helps individuals to obtain needed health services. The FCN also assists those who have no immediate family or support system in place by accompanying church members to physician appointments, assisting in follow-up calls to health care professionals, etc.

Volunteer Coordinator – there are many opportunities to help in the Faith Community Nurse Ministry. Complete the form under the ‘Volunteer Opportunities’ tab to the left if you would like to volunteer!

Community Involvement – the Faith Community Nurse Ministry hosts blood drives each year in association with the American Red Cross. Our Parish Thursday Dinners are open to the community–all are welcome; there is no charge, only a free will offering if able.
