To serve the mothers of St. Mary Parish and their families, infants through school age, by:
~ Nourishing their minds, bodies and souls
~ Supporting them in their vocation of marriage and raising little saints
~ Sharing the joys and hardships of mothering as a Catholic mom
~Supporting and serving as models of a Christ-centered family
~Shepherding each other closer to Jesus through the domestic Church
Playgroups:
We meet every other week for playgroups at different member homes. Sometimes these playgroups include a service project such as Christmas stockings to take to a nursing home, or Easter baskets to donate.
Family Events:
Our family events normally have the largest attendance. They provide a way for our families to grow in faith and fellowship. Our family events include:
Throughout the summer, we also have a variety of special events for moms, kids, and families!
Book Club:
We meet once a month for book club at member homes. The books we discuss aim to help mothers find peace, balance, and joy in their vocation. Moms also meet quarterly for a Moms Night Out to local restaurants.
Prayer, Meals, and Other Support:
We also support one another with prayer for the intentions of our members, meals for new moms and those with special needs, and in many other ways.
Annual Women's Retreat:
We host an annual one day womens’ retreat for members of the group and the entire parish. Past themes include: Relationships, The Privilege of Being a Woman, Satisfying the Hungry Heart, and others.
